Super Robot Wars Gaiden

Just dropping a quick note to say that most of the technical issues in SRW Gaiden have been resolved. There are still some bad strings and/or crashes, occasionally, and the menu system needs quite a lot of textual work, but none of it should prove very challenging. The biggest "issue" is that speaker portraits garble when a unit gets destroyed. Not sure why, just yet.
Here are some snaps of working battle sequence text.

It still has a lot of technical problems, but the really good news is that all of the necessary pointer writes have been added to SRW Gaiden's script. It's... big, of course - roughly 800K of text, all of which is going to need to be edited. The font routine is also only semi-functional, but the stuff that IS working looks pretty good. Unfortunately, the stuff that IS working isn't a lot of it.
Here are some snaps.

Just a quick note to mention that the Pantheon upgrade is complete. The link in the site's nav bar should take you there; if for some reason it takes you to the old address, merely follow Gon to the new one.
Dragon Squadron: Danzarb

It's late and I'm tired, so I'll keep this brief and let the project's subsite do the talking. Danzarb's out. Enjoy, and for god's sake, if you have problems getting it to run, READ THE README!
Sincerest apologies to DaMarsMan for neglecting to add his contribution (script formatting) to the readme. It's been fixed.

It's not done yet - and if it were, I'd still wait to release it, especially with the recent Der Langrisser release. Instead, this post is to whet your appetite a bit for the definitive English edition of this fantastic game.
New in v2.0 deluxe:
-A complete edit and polish of the script
-Font is now fully variable-width (courtesy of RedComet from Twilight Translations)
-Each chapter now has its own unique font, for a total of nine fonts (including the default system font)
-Rom has been expanded to allow for more fonts and more text
Currently, I've edited the Old West, Near Future, Sci-fi, Present Day, and Bakumatsu chapters. That leaves the Prehistoric, Ancient China, Medieval, and Final chapters to go - and Prehistoric has virtually no text anyway. There are still some glitches in the code as well; nothing major I don't think, but they're issues that do need to be resolved in the end. Regardless, this should be done very, very soon.

After roughly... 28 hours now since I started working on it, the translation for the original Super Robot Wars is ready to go. I need to thank Tyria for his dialogue translation (the other things you did are coming soon too, I promise!) as well as Ryusui and Ian Kelley for both translating the stuff I kept finding quickly and efficiently. (The title screen is also Ryusui's.)
Please don't expect much from this. Being the very first Super Robot War it's not all that great of a game, but it really is an interesting footnote in the history of a truly fantastic series of games.

Dropping a quick note to announce Super Robot Wars 1. It's mostly done - barring a few yet-untranslated strings. Easy to insert when they are done though. Expect it very soon, like possibly within the next 24-48 hours, if all goes as planned...

Just dropping a quick note to say that Danzarb's playtest has begun. Unlike the Metal Max test, which is turning up a lot more issues than I'd initially anticipated, it should be a fairly routine job. Look for both this and Metal Max soon.

Just as the headline says, I'm probably a few hours' work away from being able to launch a Danzarb playtest. Necessary fixes will include window overruns, menu expansion, and a dual-line item name hack. I've added 25 screenshots of the current build to the project's page, as well.
Also, thanks again to Datschge, the website has once again improved! First, if you use Live Bookmarks or an RSS tracker to keep tabs on websites, you can now do so for AGTP: our news has its own RSS feed. Check the bottom of the page to subscribe. Secondly, Old News is now navigable. Like the front page, it's limited to ten items per page, so once the news starts piling up (and it will soon) it'll be a bit easier to manage.
Here are a few Danzarb shots:
