1.About Sylvan Tale
-------------------
Sylvan Tale is a recently-dumped Game Gear action/RPG released by
Sega in Japan in 1995. The game can be described sort of as the middle
ground between Zelda and Alundra. It details the adventures of Zetts
as he journeys to protect the Six Droplets of Sylvalant.

2.Patch History
---------------
Sylvan Tale was dumped in February of 2001, after which I quickly
looked into the project. After speaking briefly with Shih Tzu and Dave
of Gaijin, both of whom had contributed to getting the game dumped, I
began working on the project. Two months later, it is as you see :)

The translation process of this was actually very interesting. I gave
the script to MO to work on while I built the kanji table for Yuu Yuu
Tokubetuhen. MO ended up posting the script with his opinions on his
board, requesting second opinions from various translators. As a
result, technically, the script that sits in the game is a result of
the combined efforts of four collaborating translators :)

I believe Sylvan Tale currently holds the record for shortest
turn-around time between dumping and a translation :) If the dump were
an actual game release in Japan, I doubt that even official companies
could have produced a localization of the same quality in such a short
period of time.

not been touched. ^_^

6.About the Two Patches
-----------------------
The two patches are interchangable. The only difference between them
is that the "stmusic.ips" patch replaces the annoying status screen
music with the slab shrine music, which is much more pleasant ^_^
