1.About Real Robots Final Attack
--------------------------------
Real Robots Final Attack is a one-on-one fighting game for the Playstation 1. It features
several robot characters licensed from different TV shows - Z Gundam, G Gundam, Gundam X,
Metal Armor Dragonar, Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Aura Battler Dunbine, and Combat Mecha Xabungle -
along with the SRX team robots (R-1, R-2, R-3) brought over from the Super Robot Wars
series and an original final boss. Mechanically it plays similarly to Sega's Virtual-ON,
but with controls designed more directly for console play. In addition to an eight-stage
campaign it features player-vs-player versus and system link modes, as well as a handful
of codes to unlock play as the SRX and boss units and a semi-functional first-person mode.

Despite being a fairly simple project, this one has been in the works for an extremely
long time. I have files dating back to 2006 for this one! Consequently I've honestly
lost track of who translated the story and secrets, and I apologize profusely for that!
If you were the one who did this please step forward and refresh my memory; I'd be
more than happy to update this readme with proper credits. (For those curious, the big
blocker was getting the end credits displaying fully and properly centered.)

Additionally, there is a fair amount of unused content on the disk, including evidence of
a demo disc/kiosk mode, a full story printout that's never shown anywhere in the game,
and details for nine secrets/unlocks, only five of which appear to function (and of
those five, the given instructions for activating one is incorrect.) Please see the omake
section below for story and secrets details, especially since in order to get the full
four remaining secrets you need to beat the game four times in a row without powering
off the system.

The story so far... THE BIG BANG:

Fifteen billion years ago...

The great moment of genesis, the time of our universe's birth, and the beginning of
its infinite expansion. Nobody could have known that such a sublime moment of creation,
perfect in every way, would bring forth the engine of its own eventual undoing.
The massive discharge of energy that was the Big Bang set in motion both the "Positive
Universe" in which we live, and an opposite "Negative Universe" on the underside of
reality.

The year is A.D. 199X.

At Point X-1 in the Cygnus System, a mysterious robot has emerged from coordinates at which
a black hole is confirmed to be located. X-1 is rife with astronomical significance; it is
a location bearing many scientific mysteries that confound modern-day researchers. The
robot is believed to have originated from the Negative Universe. It burst free of the
black hole's pull like a star twinkling brightly in the darkest of night skies...

The robot jumped from one world to another, traveling across time and space in visits to
places like the planet Zora, Pentagona, Byston Well, and Earth. It scanned those worlds
for forces strong enough to potentially match it, sometimes attacking them. This led to
nine real robots and their pilots being whisked away to Earth from whatever peaceful or
war-occupied routine they'd previously led, now facing one another as strangers. These
nine robots were plunged into battles against each other, unable to tell friend from
foe.

How will the universe fare?
What is the mysterious robot after?
These battles will decide it all!

CPU vs CPU:
Hold L2 and SELECT in Vs mode. Unusable in system link mode.

Play on final boss stage:
In Vs or System Link mode, on machine select, when choosing a stage press
SELECT, X, and Triangle.

View the end credits:
On the title screen, press UP, UP, DOWN, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, UP, then press START.

View the ending movie:
On the title screen, press RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, then press START.
